Sensei Giacomo and his amazing instructors have created a beautiful strong house of jiu jitsu. I love coming to this place, indulging in the knowledge, and I make new friends every time I go. True North Jiu Jitsu doesn't only come highly recommended, it's a must when your close to the vicinity of Coquitlam or North Vancouver. Go train with these amazing guys and girls, great group.

I started Jiu Jitsu 2 years ago under Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu Academy and the instructor Giacomo Zanini. Being a 125lbs girl who never did any fight like sport it would be unreal to think one day I would win a BJJ tournament. It actually happened after one year of training, at the BC Provincial level tournament. I felt at that point my confidence and lifestyle had already being shaped by the “Jiu Jitsu lifestyle”. Jiu Jitsu helped me understand my fears and control them, making better choices in my life on and off the mats daily.
